Wolf geeks

Wolf geeks with their scopes in Yellowstone:

These are the smart wolf geeks - UCLA grad students. The genetic research that went on in their lab is what closed the wolf hunting season only a few weeks after it opened. Amazing science they practice. I can understand how a red-neck rancher would get frustrated however, policy decisions that effect their lives and livestock coming down from some California kid's PHD research. Wild times in the wild west.

New pilot in the valley

Clancy is a Junior at BSU, originally from Weiser. I plan to feed him Yost's sound school advice: "You can always re-take a class. You can never re-live a moment." And convince him that blowing off school for a PG trip to India is the best thing he could do with his life next fall. Here he is flying at his favorite Idaho ridge site, Swan Falls:

Swan falls was beautiful tonight. You, dear reader - whoever you are - you NEED to learn how to fly!

Life is Grand!
